Our Community
Rooted in Norwalk-La Mirada
A lifetime of service and commitment to our community.
Community Involvement
Marybel Lorenzo has spent her career at the intersection of community service and economic empowerment. For more than 12 years at Grameen America, she worked directly with underserved women entrepreneurs in Los Angeles — helping them access credit, build financial literacy, and grow their small businesses.
She has served as an election volunteer, assisting with ballot-related activities to support civic participation in her community. She is deeply committed to ensuring every voice is heard — especially those that have historically been left out of important decisions.
Volunteer Work
Marybel has always believed in giving back to the community she calls home. As a licensed California real estate professional, she works every day to help Norwalk-La Mirada families navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives — buying or selling a home. She brings that same dedication and personal care to her campaign for the School Board.
As a bilingual English-Spanish community member, Marybel has also served as a bridge for Spanish-speaking families navigating financial services, community resources, and educational opportunities.
